Marvel's Agents of SHIELD will take on an actual Marvel Comics supervillain in "The Only Light in the Darkness."
Marvel's Agents of SHIELD has raised the stakes in the wake of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and it looks to keep them high during the final few episodes of season one. It had better, otherwise these may be the show's final few episodes altogether. But recent episodes have felt much more like the show fans were promised at the outset, and the next episode "The Only Light in the Darkness" will hopefully continue that trend.
"The Only Light in the Darkness" will not only introduce Blackout (played by Patrick Brennan), but will also give fans a look at Coulson's mysterious cellist/love interest (Amy Acker), who was mentioned in The Avengers. Watch the promo here:
Marvel's Agents of SHIELD"The Only Light in the Darkness" airs on Tuesday, April 22nd at 8 pm EST.
