Darwyn Cooke is one of the finest comic book auteurs in the business. He's a double threat artist and writer and we find his stuff generally delightful. But he's also got a fine background in animation, having done storyboards for the classic Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, and did the memorable main titles for Batman Beyond. And speaking of Batman Beyond...
After last week's brilliant Bruce Timm Batman short, the DC animation folks are at it again. This time, DC All Access revealed a special Darwyn Cooke Batman Beyond animated short. This is only a clip, as the rest won't be posted until later in the week (after it debuts at WonderCon), but enjoy it all the same!
These DC short animations, from the recent "Golden Age" Batman to the Superman 75th Anniversary bit are lots of fun. If only there were more of them...
