Another DC Comics weekly series has been announced. This time it focuses on one of the worlds of the DC Multiverse.
Earth 2: World's End joins the ranks of Batman: Eternal and TheNew 52: Futures Endas another DC Comics weekly series.
Daniel H. Wilson told The Nerdistthat:
“This has been a charmed opportunity to jump straight into the deep end of a gritty, complex DC Comics series. I feel incredibly lucky to work with Mike Cotton and the rest of the legendary DC team, figuring out the ultimate fates (and sometimes origins) of so many compelling Earth 2 characters in crisis. I’m having the time of my life.”
Well, this is the second weekly series to have the word "end" in it, and the second piece of promotional art (check it out, by Ben Oliver, below) to feature those trademark DC Universe red skies. And then thee's the fact that Mr. Wilson used that magic word..."crisis." Uh-oh.
Earth 2: World's End will launch in October. It will be written by Daniel H. Wilson, Tom Taylor, Paul Levitz, Marguerite Bennet, and Mike Johnson with art by Eddy Barrows, Jorge Jimenez, Stephen Segovia, Paulo Siqeira, and Tyler Kirkham.
