Superman's self-titled series has been a bit of a struggle since the New 52 relaunch. While Action Comics (as well as team-up title Batman/Superman) has had a string of strong writers and artists, starting with Grant Morrison and Rags Morales and stretching to the current team of Greg Pak and Aaron Kuder. The Supermantitle, on the other hand, while not short on talent (notable names include George Perez, Dan Jurgens, and others) has had a more difficult time finding footing in the new DCU.
What the book needs is a shot in the arm, and it's getting it in the form of writer Geoff Johns (who did some nice work on Superman a few years back) and first time DC artist John Romita Jr. Entertainment Weeklyhave unveiled some preview pages from part 1 of their first story "The Man of Tomorrow," which we have here for you.
