ABC are moving Marvel's Agents of SHIELD to a new timeslot for season two, and Agent Carter won't arrive until later.
ABC announced their new fall schedule today. While there aren't that many surprises, there are two Marvel-related items that are worthy of note. The first one is expected: don't expect Agent Carter starring Hayley Atwell to debut until midseason. The buzz on Agent Carter has always been that it would likely premiere right when Agents of SHIELD takes a midseason break, and that it will likely have a fairly short run of episodes.
The other big news is that Agents of SHIELD is moving to a new timeslot on Tuesdays. Currently airing at 8 pm, Agents of SHIELD will move to 9 pm on Tuesdays. Could this possibly signal a shift further towards the more supenseful and violent tone we've seen during the final stretch of season 1? Agents of SHIELD will then lead in to Foreverat 10 pm, a medical procedural about an immortal doctor.
Just to be perfectly clear, though...tonight's Agents of SHIELD season finale airs at 8 pm EST.
