With no Batman in the picture, expect the most colorful characters on Gotham to be the villains. Watch the new teaser here...
The new Gothamteaser is exactly that...a teaser. There's nothing significant in terms of new footage, there's nothing freeze-frame worthy that jumps out, and all it does is confirm what we already knew: that the villains in Gotham City are more interesting than anything else. It's to be expected, then, that a Batman prequel would have to lean heavily on the bad guys, as well as cops like Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock.
It's not much to go on, we admit. But early reactions to Gothamhave been quite positive, and our own close look at the show's proper trailer revealed all manner of nods to comic book Batman lore. Watch the teaser here, and see if you get anything more out of it than Robin Lord Taylor's rather appropriately Penguin-like hairstyle and posture.
