J.K. Rowling Writes About Harry Potter For First Time in 7 Years

J.K. Rowling broke the internet, or at least Pottermore, her platform for all things wizarding world, when she published a 1,500 word gossip column about the famous Harry Potter, the boy who lived and defeated He Who Must Not Be Named -- Voldermort, you get it...

Rowling, writing as the annoying gossip writer Rita Skeeter, sheds light on Harry's first gray hair, as he turns 34. But at least adult Ron is losing some weight. 

"About to turn 34, there are a couple of threads of silver in the famous Auror's black hair, but he continues to wear the distinctive round glasses that some might say are better suited to a style-deficient twelve-year-old," Rowling/Skeeter writes.

Harry's time with the Aurors, an elite unit of wizards who apprehend dark wizards, has left him with a mysterious cut on his cheek. Surely, some evil dudes are still taking shots at the most famous wizard who ever lived. If I were Harry, I would've taken a desk job.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione reunited at the 2014 Quidditch World Cup for some laughs, gags, and reminiscing, and Skeeter was there to catch it all.

Ron now manages Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, the joke store his brothers started. Hermione is deputy head at the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

Ginny Potter, Harry's wife and Ron's sister, is a journalist who will be covering the Quidditch World Cup final between Brazil and Bulgaria -- which will be the final article on the Quidditch World Cup in a series written for Pottermore, no doubt in celebration of the soccer world cup.

Oh, and Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom have kids together, if anyone cared to know.
