The cast and crew of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series spoke about the show yesterday, before unveiling a brand new poster, which should get fans plenty excited. While the folks involved still kept mum about some of the details (even though the pilot was screened at the event) such as how Agent Coulson survived his ordeal in Avengers, there were still a few goodies to be found.
When asked about how much of the show's first season would seed elements of Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, showrunner Joss Whedon answered, "There will be as much as we can allow. We're still working that out. It's a fluid process. It's a fun opportunity, but it's not the reason for the show. It's not an easter egg farm, we want people to come back." Fair enough!
As for the show's direct relation to the events of Avengers, Whedon had this to say: "There's so many aspects as to what's happened since everybody in the world found out there's a superhero team and aliens invaded New York. We want to be able to change it up every week -- spy stuff, hero stuff, heartfelt stuff."
There's plenty more from the conference over at the Hollywood Reporter, but in the meantime, feast your eyes on this poster!
