Here is your first look at The Walking Dead season 5, which premieres on Oct 12.
AMC’s The Walking Dead season 5 premieres on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 9 pm ET, it was announced today at SDCC 2014.
It will consist of 16 episodes. which will be split into two halves: eight to start, and then another eight dropping in February 2015.

Immediately, we see the survivors fighting off the people of Terminus. What starts as a fight might end up becoming a team-up between Rick's group and the Terminus survivors.
What convinces to join forces? The trailer hints that all of the survivors decide to head to Washington in order to find a way to cure the virus that's turned everyone into flesh-eating monsters. Eugene, the scientist with the cure, will be very valuable cargo next season.
