The directors for the first four episodes of Agent Carter have been revealed.
There was a glimpse of Marvel TV’s future on display as the company revealed details on its new limited series during its Friday panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
ABC’s upcoming Marvel’s Agent Carter, which is set to debut during Agent of the Shield’s midseason hiatus, will take place in 1946, the panel confirmed. Lead actress Hayley Atwell already previously publicized the exact number of episodes, but it’s now known who will be directing at least four of the eight episodes.
Louis D’Esposito, who directed the Marvel One Shot: Agent Carter (2013) short, will take the reigns for the premiere episode. Joe and Anthony Russo (Captain America: The Winter Solider, Community) will helm episodes two and three. Joe Johnston, who directed the first Captain America film, will sit in the director’s chair for episode four. The director/s for episodes 5-8 were not disclosed.
