Watch the new three-and-a-half-minute red band trailer for Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame To Kill For.
The new trailer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is as un-MPAA friendly as the now infamous Eva Green poster for the movie. And you can revel in all its Red Band glory below.
After nine years, fans are so ready to see the long-gestating Sin City: A Dame to Kill For that every frame of new footage counts!
Luckily, there is a lot in the new three-and-a-half-minute red band trailer that is quite NSFW. We get a little bit more focus on the plot of the Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller directed sequel based (at least in part) on the graphic novel of the same subtitle. Enter the bit of nastiness that is Ava Lord (Eva Green), setting up the central conflict of the movie when she asks Dwight (the newly recast Josh Brolin) to a world of intrigue. However, there is plenty more for fans to grapple on including the new movie-only plots for the returning Nancy (Jessica Alba) and a deeper look into the shenanigans that Johnny Miller (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) will get up to. Also be sure to catch the opening cameo of Frank Miller.
The full cast includes Bruce Willis, Josh Brolin, Rosario Dawson, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Eva Green, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jamie King, Ray Liotta, and Jeremy Piven.
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For opens August 22, 2014.

OH MY GOD!!! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW AGAIN AND AGAIN! Electric, hypnotizing, breathtaking! Now that's how a trailer should look like!!! I've really watched it 10 times back to back already. I mean, I'm speechless. I couldn't possibly imagine that there could ever be a sequel that would manage to surpass the first film on a visual and aesthetic level. As for the screenplay, the performances, the direction, I mean what can I say? This is cinema of the highest order. And just give Eva Green her Oscar! I adore, ADORE the whole "Sin City" mythology, but really after this trailer (and the mesmerizing other two previously released) my expectations were over the moon and they were not only met, they were exceeded!
