Presumably one-faced to start with, Gotham has found its Harvey Dent – Nicholas D’Agosto.
We heard our first mention of Sal Maroni on Gothamthe other night (appropriately, in the show's second episode), and he's the man who ultimately helps create Batman villain, Two-Face. Since Harvey Dent and Two-Face have been notably absent so far (despite the Penguin, the Riddler, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman all making appearances), we knew it was only a matter of time before he popped up.
And he will. Nicholas D'Agosto (Masters of Sex) will play Harvey Dent. No word yet on just when he'll show up, though. Here's how Deadline describes Harvey Dent:
Harvey Dent is a bright, charming, idealistic Assistant District Attorney whose sole mission is to eradicate the crime and corruption that has poisoned Gotham. Although he one day will serve as the white knight Gotham needs so badly as a DA, Dent also gives us a fleeting glimpse of the hideous villain he will become: Two-Face.
Harvey will be a recurring character on Gotham, and should it make it to season two (ahem), he'll be a regular.
