The hero of the Ant-Man movie, Scott Lang, will star in a new Marvel Comics ongoing series.
Superior Foes of Spider-Man is ending, but we can still follow the creators around like happy puppy dogs. Steve Lieber will be off drawing the sure to be awesome Quantum and Woody Must Die over at Valiant, while Nick Spencer is sticking around at Marvel to write a brand new Ant-Man series that will focus on Scott Lang.
Scott Lang? Not Hank Pym? Yes, well, there's that whole movie starring Paul Rudd thing to consider. You didn't think Marvel would let that approach without giving Ant-Man a series of his own, did you?
The new Ant-Man series was announced at NYCC, and there aren't a whole lot of details available just yet. Ramon Rosanas will handle art duties. We'll see Ant-Man #1 in 2015.
