Alex Ross has given us our first look at the Batman '66 version of Two-Face. You can see why we're excited, right?

This one has been a long time coming. If you've been reading Den of Geek over the last year, you've seen me get insanely excited over a number of things related to the classic BatmanTV series. The long-overdue Blu-ray boxed set is one. But the other was the revelation that Harlan Ellison's unproduced treatment for an episode of the show featuring Two-Face had been unearthed...and would be turned into a comic.

It's perfect. And perfectly ridiculous. The fact that Two-Face never appeared on that show was always a bit of a head-scratcher, and folks have floated the idea that Clint Eastwood was once in line for the special guest villain role. We're partial to Dean Martin, ourselves. Anyway, that's not important.

That important part is that Batman '66: The Lost Episode is coming next month, with a script by Watchmen editor Len Wein (adapted from Ellison's treatment...Holy Pedigree!), with art by Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, Joe Prado, and Alex Sinclair. And cover artist Alex Ross has just given us our first look via his Facebook page.

Holy duplicity! Alright, I'll stop now...
