Let the Secret Wars commence! Marvel have just given us this animated trailer, showcasing Battleworld...
We've been trying to figure out these Marvel teasers for ages now. All we've really been able to say for sure is that they all have something to do with next summer's Secret Warsevent, something that Marvel have been promising is much bigger than we could really imagine. Well, you know an event is a particularly big deal when it seems to encompass other "events," and Marvel goes through the trouble of animating a trailer for you.
Not only that, when they go out of their way to tease every comic fan's biggest fear, a continuity reset with yesterday's "Everything Ends" image (with no further commentary), well...they're looking to get your attention, that's for sure.

So, are alternate realities and timelines getting added to Battleworld as individual nations? This is definitely a step up from the old series in terms of scope. But what about those unrevealed areas? And is the Battleworld now going to be how Marvel "reality" is mapped? If so, this could be their answer to DC's Multiverse. Then again, that's an awful lot of speculation based on one very short video...
