Rick and Morty Comic Coming in April

Rick and Morty’s second season still isn’t happening until some vague time in the summer, but the Oni Press comics by Zac Gorman (illustrated by CJ Cannon and colored by Ryan Hill) will be published right in your face on April 1, barring some manner of elaborate April Fools’ hoax. And Entertainment Weekly has a sneak preview of the first issue for you right now!

You can see the cover (or, er, most of it, as it appears to have been cropped) and the first six penciled, but not yet colored, pages. Seems to have some of the show’s self-awareness and Rick’s burping and stuttering have been appropriately written into the dialogue balloons, so everything’s pretty much on track, yeah?

You’re all very excited! That is, assuming you read comics like a big nerd does.
