NewsCarrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix Trilogy, Disturbia) has been cast in Marvel's upcoming Netflix TV series, AKA Jessica Jones. In true Marvel fashion, the official statement reveals little:
Moss plays a no-nonsense woman who could prove a powerful ally to Jessica...if Jessica doesn’t completely alienate her first.
The Wrap revealed that her character's name is "Harper." I have to confess, I'm a big fan of the Aliascomic that AKA Jessica Jones is based on, but I'm drawing a blank on Harper at the moment. I'll update this if anything comes to mind. Could she be a SHIELD agent?
AKA Jessica Joneswill be the second of Marvel's Netflix series, and Ms. Moss joins a cast that includes Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, David Tennant as the villainous Kilgrave, and Rachael Taylor as Patsy Walker.
