Jeremy Jordan has just been added to the impressive cast of the Supergirl TV series.
NewsIt's getting tough to keep up with all the SupergirlTV series news at this point, but we're doing our best. It does at least seem that just about every new role that gets cast is a fairly important one. This time it's Jeremy Jordan as Winslow "Winn" Schott. Does that name ring a bell? Superman fans may know him as fairly minor villain, the Toyman.
We have an official description of the character from the casting breakdowns that surfaced a while back:
"This twentysomething tech whiz/Comic-Con stalwart toils for CatCo as a programmer, unaware of his own potential. Unware of her secret, he carries a torch for Kara, whom he lives next door to."
That won't end well for either of them, will it?
Mr. Jordan joins a cast that now includes Dean Cain and Helen Slater in mystery roles, and of course, Melissa Benoist as Supergirl, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, and Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen. Expect this one to arrive on CBS in the fall.
