Ryan Reynolds still thinks the Deadpool movie should be rated-R, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead will make an appearance.
NewsJust a couple of quick Deadpoolmovie updates for you, and then we'll leave you alone for a bit.
Brianna Hildebrand will make an appearance in the movie as the telepathic mutant with the rock n' roll inspired moniker of "Negasonic Teenage Warhead." If you guessed that Grant Morrison would be the writer who co-created an X-Men character named after a Monster Magnet song, then roll yourself a nice piece of contraband and call it a night. This is probably a pretty small role, but it sounds like these are the kinds of characters the Deadpool movie is looking to round out the X-Men universe with.
Also, Ryan Reynolds still believes that Deadpoolshould go for the hard "R" rating...
“@DPklok051: Is it going to be rated R or PG-13?" I want #Deadpool to be R. Always have. Fighting the good fight still. Lotta yelling today.

Here's the thing...is it really that crucial for this movie to be given an R? On the one hand, I feel it would be pretty important for a component of one of the most successful superhero franchises of all time to break the mold and do something that pretty much guarantees that the filmmakers are making the movie they want, not what the studio bean counters tell them they should make. On the other hand...actually, no. Never mind. It's time. Let Deadpoolbe the canary in the coal mine here.
Here. Listen to that Monster Magnet song. It's great. So is the psychedelic as hell video. They should totally put this song on the soundtrack.
