If you really cannot wait until Sept. 13 brings back Syfy’s cult followed Haven for its fourth season, you’re in luck. It’s been reported that the Season 3 DVDs, which drop on Sept. 3, will include a graphic novel intended to bridge the gap between seasons. Penned by Nick Parker, a series assistant writer to Haven, and penciled by Captain America artist Steve Ellis, the 16-page comic will pick up right after the initial aftermath of Season 3’s game changing cliffhanger.
As fans will recall, Season 3 ended with a meteor falling on the small, titular Maine town, as well as lead characters Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) and Duke Crocker (Eric Balfour) disappearing into a barn. According to Deadline, this comic, titled Haven: After the Storm, will pick up in the immediate aftermath of these events, which should be crucial for fans who know that the new season will begin six months after Season 3’s turn of events.
There have been 100,000 copies of Haven: After the Storm printed, and they shall only be available with purchases of the DVD.
