The undead version of Riverdale's richest teen returns to Archie Comics, but in what capacity?
NewsWith Afterlife with Archieand The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina already established as massive successes, is Archie Comics planning another addition to their Archie Horror imprint?
During yesterday's SDCC 2015 panel, the company showed a teaser image of Vampironica -- the bloodsucking version of Veronica Lodge who made her debut in a 2010 issue of Betty & Veronica Summer Spectacular -- that was drawn by Francesco Francavilla.
Sure, it's a wonderfully evocative image, but what does this mean? Given that Vampironica is holding Jughead's skull in the image, we are inclined to believe that this image is just a tease for an upcoming story arc in Afterlife with Archie. Or, more interesting, it could indicate that plans are afoot for a third Archie Horror title focusing on the character.
Either way, consider us down. We're just wondering if Betty the Vampire Slayer will return, too...
