Check out these first preview pages for Marvel's Star Wars: Shattered Empire!
NewsAlong with Chuck Wendig's Star Wars: Aftermathseries of novels, Shattered Empire bridges the gap between Return of the Jediand The Force Awakens. Picking up where we left off after the Battle of Endor, we get the new canon continuation of the story, a huge challenge for the writers and artists that have to live up to the quality of so many great Legends novels like The Thrawn Trilogy and The New Jedi Orderbooks.
Shattered Empire is written by Greg Rucka (Batman), who is also writing a standalone Star Wars novel called Smuggler's Run, starring Han Solo, and Marco Checchetto (Spider-Man) is on art. And I can honestly say the art looks absolutely wonderful. Just check out these first few preview pages from the book, which pick up right after the Battle of Endor:

Yeah, that's good stuff, right?
