PreviewMan, it sure sucks that Deadpool died a few months ago. Killed as part of the final incursion setup for Secret Wars, he then appeared during the event as a ghost, following his wife Shiklah around in the pages of Mrs. Deadpool and the Howling Commandos. In the end, having narrated the story, he then said in surprise, “What’s that? I already have a new series? They just killed me! Whatever. See you soon, I guess.”
Yes, Deadpool’s back. Back again. Wilson’s back. Tell a friend. No longer a collaboration between Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan, now it’s Duggan’s show completely with Mike Hawthorne on art. Deadpool #1 will be hitting stands on November 4 as part of the blitz of All-New, All-Different Marvel titles.
The new volume (the fourth volume of Deadpool, not counting the old minis from the early-to-mid 90s) takes place eight months after the events of Secret Wars. After years of being a scumbag who sort of occasionally wants to be considered a superhero, Deadpool has finally reached his goal. He’s now a major star, an Avenger, and funds the Avengers by being a major star!
