Pom Klementieff joins the cast of the Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel -- but Matthew McConaughey doesn't...
NewsCanadian actress Pom Klementieff (pictured below) has been signed for an undisclosed role in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2, joining the core cast of returning stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper in writer/director James Gunn's sequel.
Her role in the movie is set to be a "key" one, although as you might expect at this stage, that's about as much information that's available.

The Canadian actress has done most of her screen work in French language productions, although she did take a role in Spike Lee's Oldboy remake.
Furthermore, it seems as though Matthew McConaughey had been eyed for the role of the villain in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2, but has elected to turn the part down. The casting of the role should be confirmed in the next couple of weeks, although who Marvel and Gunn have their eye on following McConaughey's decision is unclear.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 is set for release in May 2017.
