It can't be good news all of the time: the next two Star Wars novels have been delayed by Del Rey.
People hoping to jump back into the galaxy far, far away will have to wait just a little longer. If you were looking forward to getting your hands on the next two novels from Del Rey, you might be a bit disappointed to hear that both New Republic: Bloodline by Claudia Gray and Aftermath: Life Debt by Chuck Wendig have been delayed.
Del Rey tweeted this morning that the books would be delayed to a few months down the road from their original release dates:
Bit of news to start 2016: some new pub dates - NR: BLOODLINE - now on-sale 5/3 (from 3/29) & AFTERMATH: LIFE DEBT on-sale 7/19 (from 5/31)

So a two-month delay for each, huh? Well, if it means we'll get better books because of it, so be it. We should note that both of these books take place after Return of the Jedi, so we'll undoubtedly get some backstory for The Force Awakens in these next offering. And we're very excited about that!
Until then, you can still get your hands on The Force Awakens novelization and Before the Awakening, a prequel to the film, starring Rey, Finn, and Poe.
More on this as we learn it.
