Superman's greatest villain is about to become an unlikely hero...and a Justice League member.
You know things are bad when Lex Luthor looks like a good guy. But that's exactly what the latest Justice League event, Forever Evil, has done to things. When an alternate-universe Justice League (The Crime Syndicate) shows up on our world to make life difficult for everyone, even traditional DC Comics supervillains end up on the side of law and order. Well, maybe not...but close enough. Who else would be more qualified to take out an evil version of Superman than the guy who spends most of his time trying to whack the real deal? And certainly that would help his reputation a bit, wouldn't it? We're gonna find out just how much when Justice League #30 hits shops in April.
“The Justice League is going to go through a lot of changes, obviously, in the wake of ‘Forever Evil,’” Justice League writer Geoff Johns told The Washington Post. “A lot of the blame can be put on their shoulders for what has happened: They were infiltrated and they fought each other and that led to the unleashing of the Crime Syndicate and the evil that took over the world.”
