In what just might be our favorite bit of casting news for the CW's FlashTV series, it turns out that John Wesley Shipp will guest star in the pilot. Fans may remember Shipp as the face of the live-action Flash on CBS TV's short-lived (but quite good) FlashTV series that ran from 1990-1991. No word on who his character actually is, but Collider seems to think it could become a recurring role should the Flashpilot get picked up for series.
We're rather hoping that his character's name is Jay Garrick...
