Actor Patrick Sabongui has been cast in the role of Police Captain David Singh for the anticipated Flash TV pilot.
Patrick Sabongui has been cast in the hotly anticipated pilot for CW’s The Flash. As according to Deadline, Sabongui (best known for smaller roles in 300 and Immortals, and who will be appearing in Godzilla) is set to play Captain David Singh in a role that could become recurring in a full series.
In the comics, Singh became the director of the crime lab in the Central City Police Department, and repeatedly butted heads with the Flash in his many variations, as he is a cop who valued closing files as “solved” over necessarily actually solving them.
The Flash is a pseudo-spin-off of CW’s Arrow in which it follows Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) as he looks to solve the murder of his mother and bring swift justice to the streets of Central City.
The Flash pilot will be zipping toward its shoot later this year.
