The filming of the first episode of Gotham is well underway. FOX's upcoming Batman prequel focusing on how Gotham City went from being you everyday, run-of-the-mill crime riddled wasteland full of gangsters and corrupt cops into being one ruled by costumed psychopaths on both sides of the law will air in the fall, but you can see some photos today!
First a batch courtesy of the folks at Coming Soon, showcasing young Detective Gordon (no mustache yet, sadly, on Ben McKenzie) doing some rooftop style police work that would probably do his pal, Batman, proud.

Here's Gordon and his mentor, Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue), in a quieter moment on the steps of a Gotham City brownstone.
And, finally, here's your first look at Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot, better known to Batman fans as The Penguin. Note the headline dealing with the activities of Gordon and Bullock.
