In the wake of Marvel's Original Sin event (and his appearances on Agents of SHIELD) Deathlok will get his own comic series.
Over on Marvel.com, Axel Alonso, while talking about Original Sin and its spin-offs and tie-ins, said, "This event is massive because it will transform the lives of most Marvel characters. Coming out of Original Sin, there will be four or five new series and three major ongoing completely changed."
And yes, one of those new series is indeed Deathlok, described by Marvel has having a "new form." This will, however, still be the Michael Collins version of Deathlok, who is the loose basis for the Deathlok currently appearing on Agents of SHIELD. Writer Nathan Edmondson and artist Mike Perkins will be in charge of bringing back Deathlok.
"Mike Perkins is a huge Deathlok fan," said Tom Brevoort. "That's an understatement," added Axel Alonso.
