The villain of the Arrow season 3 premiere has been cast. This is potentially spoiler-y, so beware...
Arrowhas found the villain for the season three premiere. Peter Stormare (most recently seen as the mega-villain of The Blacklist two-part season finale, "Berlin") will play Werner Zytle. Who is Werner Zytle? Well...here's where things could be considered spoilers for Arrowseason three, so you might want to click on out of here. Werner Zytle is known to DC Comics fans as the real name of Count Vertigo. What's this? Didn't we already see the last of Count Vertigo (then played by Seth Gabel) in season two? After all, Oliver put an arrow right through the Count's heart, didn't he?
Well, I don't believe we ever got the real name of the drug dealer calling himself "the Count," so Stormare's Werner Zytle, the latest guy slinging the Vertigo drug, could be the real deal, the supplier, the inventor...any of the above really. Hopefully this version of the Count is written with a little more nuance than the previous one.
