Marvel's Daredevil TV series has found its Karen Page, and added another cast member in a recurring role.
True Blood star Deborah Ann Woll will play Karen Page on Daredevil. Page is a crucial part of Matt Murdock's life, who first appeared in 1964's Daredevil#1 as the secretary at the Nelson & Murdock law firm. Later stories saw Ms. Page's life take a darker turn, and this should make for some serious fodder should Daredevilmake it to a second or third season. "Born Again" by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli is a hell of a story.
Daredevilhas also added Peter Shinkoda (Mortal Kombat: Legacy) to the cast in what Deadlinedescribes as "a major recurring role." Stick, the man who properly taught Matt Murdock how to fight without his sight, seems a logical choice, here.
Daredevilis the first of five interlocking Marvel live-action series for Netflix. It also stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/The Kingpin, Elden Henson as Franklin "Foggy" Nelson, and Rosario Dawson in an as yet undisclosed role. Daredevil is currently shooting in New York City and should premiere in 2015.
