Jaimie Alexander will guest star on Agents of SHIELD season 2 episode 12 as Thor supporting character, Sif.
NewsWe won't get to see Thor: Ragnarok until 2017, but that doesn't mean we won't get our Asgard fix in other ways. Jaimie Alexander, who appeared on an episode of Agents of SHIELD during its first season, will return in March as the powerful Sif.
The fun part of this is that Sif will be clashing with a villain who has powers that equal her own impressive Asgardian abilities. No word on who that might be. Given the recent focus on Inhumans on the show, perhaps it's one of those, but it could be anybody. The problem is, it's going to cost her a chunk of her short-term memory.
"Sif has no idea who Thor is or that she serves a king, and we're going to have fun with that," executive producer Jeffrey Bell told TV Insider. "It'll give us some much-needed humor in a season that's been full of betrayal and death. Sif can't even recall who she came here from Asgard to stop, but Agent Coulson [Clark Gregg] and his team will try to help her figure all that out."
Ms. Alexander will appear in Agents of SHIELD season 2 episode 12, airing on March 10th. More details as we get them.
